I was making some Parmesan Baked Fish. The recipe called for bread crumbs.
I save heals and stale bread to make bread crumbs, but this time I happened to have some hamburger buns that had gotten squished in the freezer. I used the grater attachment on my food processor and had instant and cheap bread crumbs.
Why would anyone pay $2.29/# for store bought bread crumbs?
