While digging through the 25 cent box at Helping Hands, I found a sage green sheet with a white leaf print. I thought it would make a lovely summer dress. The problem:

Ink Stains
So I dug a little deeper and found the fitted sheet that matched. It too was stained.
Who goes to bed with a sharpie?
At 25 cents each I splurged and bought both sheets knowing I would be able to cut around the stains to make a

summery frock
with a matching padded hanger
The pattern and belt were also thrift store finds. Whole outfit less than $5.
There is still quite a bit of fabric left. In the future you may see another project from the same sheet.
Great use of the sheet fabric. I love the cool leafy green with the white leaf pattern, perfect summery dress. Cheers, Michele
You are so clever! The fabric is gorgeous and it looks like a lovely style to wear – well done you!
Brilliant re-use!
